Background: Formerly, referred to as the Shea’s Annual 5K Run and Walk, the race was renamed this year to honor the recent passing of two beloved friends and colleagues of Shea’s Performing Arts Center and recent President and 3rd Vice President of the Shea’s Spotlight Committee, William “Bill” Crooker and Ramona “Mona” Arida. Among, the immeasurable dedication and commitment they had for Shea’s, Bill and Mona were key pillars in making Shea’s 5K one of the favorites of the local running community.

Race starts at 11:30am on Sunday, September 16, 2018. The race begins and ends at Shea’s Buffalo Theatre. Download the race map.
Pre-registration is only $17 and HAS BEEN EXTENDED until Saturday, September 15th at 11:59pm. Registration the day of the race is $27 and begins at 9:30am.
Free Parking is provided by Mark Croce and Buffalo Chophouse in the lot across from Shea’s Buffalo Theatre between Pearl Street and Franklin Street.
Pre-registrants can pick up race day packets on Friday, September 14th from 10am – 2pm in the Shea’s Buffalo Theatre Grand Lobby (Entrance via Theatre Place) or on Sunday, September 16th from 9:30am – 11am in Theatre Place (next to Shea’s Buffalo Theatre).
Join us after the race for a fabulous post-race party held at the Theatre Place Pavilion right next to Shea’s. The post-race party features a variety of complimentary food and beverages, prize giveaways, and basket raffles.
Awards will be given to the first 3 males and females in each race group: 14 & under, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59 (Clyde Terry Division), 60-64 (Harvey Austin Division), 65-69 (Jim Nowicki Division), 70+ (Bob Ivory Division).
