Come join representatives of the Pride Center of WNY, Gay and Lesbian Youth Services of WNY, and the MOCHA Center in a discussion about how to talk about LGBTQ topics and issues within your schools and households, as well as what community resources are available to help support young LGTBQ people and those who care about them.
This panel discussion is tied to Shea’s On School Time performance of Outside, presented at Shea’s Buffalo Theatre on Tuesday, January 29, 2019 at 10:30 am. Outside is the story of Daniel, a teen who triumphs over homophobic bullying, depression, and suicide. At his new high school, he shared his story at a meeting of the Gay Straight Alliance. Meanwhile, at his old school, his friends Krystina and Jeremy attempt to start their own GSA while struggling to come to terms with what happened.
